Hey guys,
Ever since I installed my new Polk Momo 650 rears, the stock (non bose) radio has a habit of clipping intermittently. You can smack the rear hatch area where the speakers are housed a couple of times and usually it will kick back on. All speakers in the car cut off.
It seems like there is a short somewhere (obviously) but I cannot find where it might be at. I'm guessing the stock unit will kill all the speakers if there is a short detected in just one feed. I used the stock wiring for now until I get my new headunit/amps/sub, so there aren't any splices hanging out back there that could be a problem. The metal housing is also wrapped around the speaker hole with dynamat so it can't be the speaker itself possibly grounding itself out.
Does anyone know if there are any plugs back there that might cause this problem?
Thanks,
Rob
