Default Just got the Pro CompuStar 2W9000FM

Just got this installed yesterday after getting my car back (Finally) from the shop. So far its not really working. Not CompuStar fault though I have to bring back a spare key to have it programed. Anyhow this thing rocks it has auto start for my stick shift. It has a 2 way pager with 1.5 mile range and I put a proximity sensor as well.

My question though, what the hell is the turbo timer for? What does this have to do with an alarm. I have searched and searched with no clear answer. I am dropping my car off today to get the alarm finalized, just curious what the heck that is.

Thanks for that. Was unclear why a alarm would come with that. Its starting to make sense now.

well, i have no turbo, but i use mine for those moments where i forgot something inside the house and don't want to turn off the car, but need to do so to unlock the door to get in. With the "turbo timer" i can let the car idle and remove the key to get inside the house. i'm aware of the recent studies that show that turning off the engine might save you gas, but just call me old-fashioned, lol.
