Default direct wire smartplug placement

I have a 2003 350z and ive gotten tired of my coiled powercord getting in the way and dividing the 2 seats. I know how to hook it up but i dont know where to put the little box thing. i was thinking of putting it under my steering wheel but im not really sure. i would get it installed but im sure its a easier job thats not worth 100 dollars.

so yeah any help would be appreciated
thanks,
brokk
