Default Bose vs. Other

Ok so i'm thinking about getting a DVD/Navi and i thought with it i switch out my speakers. I have the Non-Bose and wanted you opinion from you guys. I am looking to spend nothing more than like 4 bills or so for some decent speakers. Just want something that sounds a lil better...............do you guys think i should buy the stock Bose or should i invest in something else? BTW the stock Bose would be used of the forum.

My advice invest in something else. Bose is ok for those that are not into good sound. If you want good quality sound and enjoy listing to music i would invest in replacing your bose system with other. Keep in mind if you want to get a bose navi, it will cost more then if you got an aftermarket on. There are aftermarket video head units that have Navi built in them. Im currently running all Alpine and Focal.

I only have the Bose because it came with the car. If you don't start with it, there is really no good reason to put it in. MUCH better options on the market that will sound much better.
