Default 2003 Cubby Lilliput 7" Touchscreen Project

Quick question I searched for and PMed w/no response. I want to put my 7" Lilliput touchscreen into the cubby where the stock nav goes. My question is when you mount the screen do you keep the front of the housing on or can you just mount the raw screen?

The reason I ask is due to the fact that my housing is gone (I molded it to the dash kit on my RSX) and digitalworldwide.com is out of stock and has been for several weeks.

Please get back to me as I would like to start this project ASAP before school starts in a couple weeks.

you can do just the screen itself, it just doesn't look as clean.
