You have to have links to the actual images, not through the PHP page.

When you "Get the Linking Code", use the link for forums, not the one for websites.

what do you not like about it? input please. As I said, I did all of this work myself. The grill and eyelids I dont care about, nobody likes those but me. But you say you dont like any of it stereo install included, I would appreciate some constructive criticism. thanks.

I find that on this site alot of people don't like critism .. they get bent out of shape and call you a hater.. but since you don't mind.. i will share my ideas and thoughts..

Head Unit - i am a fan of Double Din's.. the single din isn't that bad.. but it leaves the tray under... just doesn't look as uniformed.. if you had a single din eq under it it would compliment it better

Sub Box - should make it all one level... make it more uniformed.. or go with the dual 12 sub box (no trunk space) or the Under the strut bar sub box

Rear Speakers - i am not feeling those grills.. look out of place.. a bit too flashy for the system.. if you had fiberglass everywhere with the same color.. then yeah.. ok.. but just go with a simple black grill

Amp Rack - clean it up a bit.. i would get rid of the cross overs in the middle.. but if you really want to keep them.. look into little black plastic clips to the wires in place.. right now they are just all over

here is a shot if the back of my amp rack so you know what the black pieces i am talking about

no way man. I love criticism. Its the only way that you grow. If I hit an extra key or two please excuse me. Im a wee drunk. I posted this not becuase I want props or becuase I want to troll, but because I want input. As for single din. I wanted double din. But the premier series is the only headunit, single or not that has the preamp voltages that I wanted. I hate the undertray, i really do. But even the eclipse model double dins didnt have the preamp voltages that I needed.

As for the sub box. I did this YEARS ago, and I wanted a cool design that wasnt constantly seen. If I had it to do over again. I woudl do somethiung mouch more simple, that was more uniform. I agree with youy and I appreciate the info. Next install will be all uniform and maybe a little bit less flashy.

As for the rear speakers. Do you think it would be a better idea to recess the componets and put some black speaker cloth around them and loose the grills. I think i will do so, but in due time. As I said, I am tired of installing and actually want to drive my car, so I will give it a few months. Winter may show my install being quite differnt.

I like your amp rack alot. I wanted to show off the crossovers, since I think they are so nice and clean looking, maybe flush mounting and hiding the wiring is in order next time around.

Thanks for all the input, positive and negative. I need them both. I am not a child and I can take the haters and the likers as long as both have good objective inmput. nothing is set in stone and I can change many things in the future.

THANKS MY350Z.COM memmber=s. You are all the apitomy of the word "enthusiast"

HU - what voltage where you looking at? my eclipse deck is 5V

SubBox - you could even keep it the same way.. just get a flat baseboard so it looks like 1 level

Rear - if it doesn't bother you.. you could even paint those grils black.. make it a little more uniform

Amp Rack - Crossovers look nice up there.. keep them up there.. just clean up the wiring

...........

I hear you on the work done.. time to rest.. i feel the same way.. i want to switch my RCA's to a better set.. but i am too lazy right now to pull the rear panel off and run the wires under the carpet again.. sometimes you just want to enjoy your music for a while.. i hear you.

btw where did you get those clips?
...could shrink wrap them, and then tie them down.

I need to move mine...Im getting a very slight engine whine from the front speakers even with an rca filter. Its real low and you cant really hear it unless you are listening for it. another day perhaps.

Dont you hate when you are finally finished with something and ride around and something screws up or you notice that you screwed it up? God I hate that. I can never seem to get anything right the first time I do it. Always have to end up revisiting a project like twice to get it right.
