have you made a plastic piece yet that goes in there? like i said i just stuffed the soft case with the rubber sides down into the hole like where the lid would fold into, and i've been driving around with it there with no problems

I'm Having trouble with mounting the plastic bracket, I may do the same as your doing an put rubber in the hole and then putting strong adhesive on it.

I pods blow, why spend the money??? More bang for the buck with the 30gig Zune Approx $204.00 on eBay, and the ZUne has FM radio also, bigger LCD. OOOh yeah the did I mention I pods blow.............otherwise the mounting looks nice enough

i agree, i'm not a huge fan of ipods because they break every single year...good thing for best buy warranty. If microsoft would've been about 4 years earlier in the game i would've definately bought that over a mac...but they didn't, and theres tons more accessories for ipods, so i'll stick with them and get a new one every year
