I just installed th headunit and for some reason it's on demo mode and pauses like every 30 seconds... kidna annoying specially when i try to play cds or do anything audio cuz it pasues and resumes. Any info would be great thanks.

 

I have the same radio. I think if you hold the "F" button to enter the functions there is a Demo option to turn on & off.

I have the same HU with JL XR650CSi components up front. I seem to be getting high treble and not enough mid-bass. I've tried to treak the EQ, but to no avail. Does anyone have any tips for getting more mid-bass? I swear I heard these speakers play better in the store. I have them powered by an amp (85W x 2). I turned the crossover on the amp to full and used 80Hz as the crossover from the fronts on the HU. Is that the right setup?

 

Inside the crossovers are settings to change the midrange presence and tweeter level.
