Ok so I got the Escort 9500I radar detector about three or so months ago and I really like it. Thing is after a few weeks it started to get where it would slip or "click" its way off the mounting bracket when i would hit a decent sized bump. It eventually got to the point where i had to re-seat it on the bracket several times just on the 15 minute ride to work. So I took it back to best buy and they exchanged it with no problems. So the new one seemed to be working great but then after about a month it started to do the same thing. This one isn't doing it as often or quite as bad but its still a PITA when I paid over 500 bux for this thing. Whenever I hit a moderate bump going up a hill and getting on it the whole damn thing just falls right off into the floor. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have any suggestions? Any input would be greatly appreciated as I'm begining to lose hope on this.

well just in case anyone else has this problem, I talked to a member on this board who gave me some advice that seems to have fixed it. Basically you just take the bracket and bend it slightly upwards.
Some ppl had the same problem at the radar forum I'm apart of... Seems like you fixed it though.
Just make sure you push the button when putting it on and taking it off... it seems some ppl wore out the locking pin thing.
