I intend to install a directional microphone with noise cancellation on the sun visor. Anyone has had any experience with this type of install ? How do you run the wire from the mic to the car PC without being too much visible ?

depends on where you store your carpc? is it in one of the cubbys behind passenger seat perhaps?

Yes the carPC is in the cubby behind the passenger seat.

I would also be interested in knowing the best quality / price ratio mic for the noisy 350z motor.

I believe a directional + noise cancellation features are a must for this type of vehicule.
