Default Xenarc screen questions?

Im a audio newbie and really interested in the Xenarc screen. Im looking to mold the monitor in my dash and use it with a DVD type head unit for now.

I know the sceen is VGA and I want to eventually put a in the car PC when I can afford it.

My question is would I able to hook up a regular DVD head unit or PS2 game sytem to the Xenerc screen?

Thanks

you'll need a VGA converter. I know the Sony sells one for the PS2. You can probly get a universal converter. Then again the ps2 plays DVD movie too.

they make them in AV versions, just be sure to get a VGA/AV model. I know the playstation goes out to AV, and any DVD player worth anything will also play to AV.

so yes, I dont know of any reason that a converter would be required. you just have to get a version with AV in. and if you plan for a future computer you will want VGA in as well.

Yes, but you need to make sure you order the version of the Xenarc that includes "composite" inputs (i.e. RCA).

yeah they have a VGA/AV version. But why spend all that cash on a VGA monitor only to connect it with AV connector. Might as well get a $30-$40 converter and have the PS2/DVD display the highest graphic possible. Yeah its only 7" LCD, but not sure how picky he would be with the graphic, there are some people out there that are really picky about that stuff. kinda like Z owners and their Z haha
