Im coming across one for pretty cheap and was wondering on some input from you guys on the pros and cons? Does anyone have it, if so is there a DIY? I searched but didnt find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Pro: easy to by-pass

Con: it's going to come with +4 year old maps. You can buy an update for $150 or something like that. Check e-bay where you can often find someone selling disks.

 

I had one, it was pretty good, but a little slow when navigating through.
The controls also stopped working on mine after about 1 yr.
If you do get updated disks, it makes the bypass much harder.
