Default Need help with subwoofer problem

Any knowledgable audiophiles out there that can help would be appreciated. Had a JL Audio 10W3 installed in factory position. Installer built a box and used 20 sq ft plus of dynamat. Sounds awesome except on some songs and only some notes it rattles. Alot of the stuff I listen to - classic rock- is no problem. Installer thinks it might be an air leak and is going to have to tear whole thing apart. Does that sound right? Why is it only some notes? Are they the ones that hit harder maybe? This is my first sub so am in the dark. Rattles might not be the right word for it and we have held down the cover panel and surrounding plastic with no change. THANKS!!!

even if you built a box and install it behind the driver's seat, it will still rattle for some reason.. I think it's the metal panels or something inside that compartment... The best place is to move the box in the trunk or lower the bass note a little, it may help..
