Hi, the tweeters on my mb quart qsd-216 component speakers are extremely harsh. I've been told to lower the db on the crossover to either -1 or -3 db. My question is if lowering the db on the crossover will produce a different sound and result as opposed to merely lowering the treble on the deck?
If the harshness doesn't go away with adjustment i might have to purchase a new comp set with a silk tweeter. any input appreciated thx
