Nissan DVD NAV
Have 350z with DVD NAV, wanted to know if it is possible to use the DVD player to play DVD movies also. The dealer told me to check out Circuit City, they would know how to convert the system over to play DVD movies and the DVD NAV cd.

The DVD nav unit will not play video DVD's, and cannot be modified.
You will need to purchase a stand-alone DVD player, and get an interface for the factory monitor. Various compainies offer this, like Nav-TV. I don't think you will find the answer or ability to do this mod at Circuit City.
