holy crap, you better get some kind of upgrade for your alternator if you are going to run anywhere near its full potential, a cap wont help you much with that beast

Wholly cr@p! VERY cool.

Have you posted about your alternator before? I would have an interest in hearing about how it fit, pricing, places to buy etc. I know Kwame bought a different brand from SGP that is a direct replacement and I've heard of the wrangler's before but don't recall seeing a thread about an install in a Z.

at the moment i have 3 ported enclosures that i use

1 = Revolution Design Audio # Alpha V.2 15"

2= Resonant Engineering # MT 12"

3= FI # BTL 12"

all the above 3 have been running 1 ohm at about 4600 watts

i will re-wire the 3 subs in their enclosures to a 4 ohm load , because the new amp does 1 x 7000 @ 4 ohm brideged

but i am buying a 4th sub that i will be able to wire at 1 ohm and use the 10,000 watts the amp can give
new sub will be 1 each revolution design super heavy weight 15" dvc 2 ohm
5000 rms and 30,000 watt burps

Quick Reply: ordered a new anp for my sub
