Default Speakers For Eclipse AVN5500

Can I use the Infinity Kappa 63.7i speakers with the AVN5500? There are no specs on the AVN's built in amp as far as what ohm speakers to use. I don't want to fry anything so, if someone can chime in and tell me whether this will work okay I would appreciate it. I also don't want to amp anything besides my sub. I'm not an audiophile. Thanks.

4 ohm speakers are what you want. If the infinity's you referenced are 4ohm, then you can definitely use them. The headunit will power them and it'll sound ok, just know you won't be getting the most out of the speakers unless you amplify them.

Checked the manual and the built in amp has a max power rating of 50x4 @ 4 ohms. The Infinity speakers are rated @ 2 ohms. Can this still work?
