The only reason I have is the car audios stores that I have visited always talk about Jl for sub and Focal for component. I don't know anything about car audio, so I just go with what I hear. Also, my budget can afford it. Like I said before I don't want something to compete just good sound. And I think JL and Focal can do what I want.

you want JL and you have a Stillen SC .. i see you are not an advocate of doing it right the first time .. lol... ok i'm done

OK, that's fine, I just wonder what reasons people have for choosing the equipment the choose. There is nothing wrong with anybody's personal opinions or preferences. It's just interesting to hear reasons behind choices.

If the w6 is within the budget and your choice is between w3 and w6, I would go w6. But you can only do 1 w6 with the 500/1 amp. You 'could' do two, but they will be a bit underpowered and you won't be getting their full potential.

i wanna replace my rear speakers but before i try i wanna know how to take out the stock ones fist. anyone has pictures showing how to take emm out?

wow that would of helped alot before i did it... it wasn't hard just took time to find out how to put it apart took me about 1 1/2 hours to change emm i finally got my system complete ty for your help

WOW

I faded the sound all the way to the back for the first time using the stock speakers.

Holy crap. I know people on here talked about how bad they are, but I was totally surprised at just HOW bad they were. WOW.

It literally sounds like an old 1980s clock radio speaker, running an AM channel. These speakers are practically worthless, and I'm surprised Nissan located them behind the seats when they could have just put them on the rear strut bar.
