carpet removal?

Default carpet removal?

has anyone taken out the seats and carpet on a z before? i want to dynamat the floor and have never messed with taking the seats or carpet out and was wondering if there was anything special i need to do.

The seats come out in 10 minutes tops with a 10mm socket----Carpeting is good if you get rid of the trim...seems to me it's stapled --no big deal

How bout posting some pics of the dynamat installed in your Z when done???
Are you doing this to make the car quieter from road noise or to improve the stereo system sound, or both??

i am putting it in for both a quieter ride and for the stereo i am going to be installing. i will put some pics up of the process of installing it all.

+1 on the carpert removal. Seats come out ez. Center console pretty easy too, lift up and back on the rear edge of the shifter trim ring to pop that loose and go from there.
