Default Pioneer DEH-P9800BT

I changed my Bose system out to the Pioneer DEH-P9800BT because I wanted the bluetooth handsfree on the cell phone. Now $2000 later it's all installed and the only thing that doesn't work is bluetooth.

Everytime I turn off the head unit the phone has to manually reconnected. The Pioneer web site doesn't admit that it's a bug but does confirm that I have to do that.

Maybe in the spring I'll take it out, drop kick it into the trash can, and buy some OTHER brand.

Ken

Unhappy Me Too

I feel your pain man. Mine behaves the same way. People also complain about the sound quality even though it has a fairly large mic.

Just wondering....what kind of phone do you have? So far that bug seems to be specific to Motorola phones. I think there is another thread on here on this topic.

I have a LG phone but the pioneer web site says that it will have to be manually connected. My wifes car has a Alpine in it works without a problem.
