Default Dual voice coil subwoofer

Does anybody know how to wire a dual voice coil sub with a two channel amp? What difference does it make compared to just one voice coil being wired? Thanx if anybody knows!

depends one the resistance and power of the amp and sub. you can hook each of the coil to one channel or use one channel to hook the sub in series or parallel.
