My aftermarket Kendwood in-dash head unit comes on bu tnothing comes thru my speakers? I checked the radio fuse under the hood but its still good. Its just kinda wierd how the headunit still comes on but the speakers dont?

 

1. Check the fuse and wires on the amplifier if you have one that runs all of your speakers.

2. Check the fuse on the back of the radio. Not sure if thats for the power to the radio or for audio output.

3. Pull the radio and connect a known good speaker directly to one of the outputs.

 

Forgot. If you only have fronts, check the fader. Sounds stupid, But I've done it. This may be something as simple as a setting in the head unit.

 

Where is the stock amp located?

 

How bout turning up the volume, and adjusting the fader.
