The Zenclosure boxes WILL hold 12" subs. I have even seen a 15" installed in on of those boxes!!

Don't laugh; you're actually correct. My understanding is that Nissan has to have the capability of adding seats there ( something to do with emissions etc). Supposedly you can remove that centerbridge piece and add seats. Don't know if this is a confirmed fact but that is what I have been told.

Do you have any idea what you have done?

The structural integrity of your car has been comprimised. You will be lucky if you don't crack your windsheild or warp a body panel out of alignment. This is like cutting out your inner fender wells with no reinforcement.

Take it to a body shop and have it welded back in.

You should have just gotten a G35C and taken out the rear seat......at least you would not have compromised the structural integrity of the vehicle.

....

Boy did you Screw the Pooch on that one!!!
You just F-ed up a 30 thousand dollar car to install a few hundred dollars worth in speaker. I hope you leave enough room for the 6 point roll cage you're going to need in the future.

Just pathetic.

this might just work w/o compromising the structural integrity if he builds a box as big & strong as the pannel that he cut out.....

but then again this i say think twice about what you do to your car before you do it.

either way its his Z... if he wants to ruine his new car than thats him....

Yeah..maybe weld a straight bar across that isnt as thick as that original piece so you can still have a big enough box but retain some structural integrity?
