Some D-Bag at my local audio shop sold me a dash kit for my Avic D3, it is the "American International ND-K742", this thing has a huge gap when installed So the question is what dash kit can I buy for it. Is the "Metra 99-7402" an option, what else Please help

P.S: I don't wanna screw up my HU aka fry it, so I wanna make sure I am doing the bypass correctly, I am terribly confused I have read this "LINK" and have also read this "LINK", but I am confused as to how it is done, thank you very much for your help.

put back the stock HU. You'll be ok.

if you want to keep the one you already use, you have to drill new holes in the mounting kit to try and balance out the gap. The metra kit will have the same problem. Most people will have to realign. Luckily i didn't have to with my d3
