they are good entry level subs. They sound pretty good if you have a pair. I like their power reference line. i don't like their m-class though.

I've used Memphis in my car and I install at shop. Of course I carry a slight bias for Memphis since it's our major line.... Memphis 6.5's and 5.25 in fiberglass kicks Memphis Belle Amp 16-XO3 3-way crossover 2 D4 Ohm M3's SQ is great. For the price, it's hard to beat.

Very nice!
Ive been building my audio install idea list... I really like your approach. The dang car arrives this Thursday... and I have the next 2 years worth of stuff planned to put in it ;-)

How about your sub box there... how does that one sound in the Z? Deeper or more punchy? Also, is it a custom enclosure or something available elsewhere?

Good question, I've avoided adding it all up in fear that the wife would stumble across the total. To be honest if I didn't work at a stereo shop. I probably would have put all this stuff in. Employee discount FTW.

The sub box is a Zenclosure. The whole project was taking too long and the Zenclosure arrives ready to install subs in soo. It hits really hard with those subs and 1100 Watts from the amp. It will get pretty low, not 15 kinda low, but low enough.

Great, thanks for the details.
I've spent years perfecting the sound in my SUV, time for me to learn to work with the airspace in the Z.
