Default Pa11-nis ????

OK guys I've searched the forums for what seems like forever and I still can't seem to find any solid info. Will the PA11-NIS work on a 2006 Z with Bose and a factory CD Changer. The car does not have Navigation or a Satellite button. Where the 12 pin connector on the back of the HU, is there is already a harness. If I unplug that harness am I going to lose my changer function. Or am I just SOL and unable to use the interface. I would appreciate any info, insights, experience, links or first hand knowledge of the subject. I've got the dash of the car out and I would really like to get it back together before my wife gets home. I was hoping to have this ready to go for her before Christmas.

Need some info on this as well. I currently am using a PAC-OEM Adapter to use a AMP for my sub on my stock 04 Bose Radio.

Wondering if I can still use this PA11-NIS for my IPHONE and the adapter for my amp.

Yes it will work with your radio just unplug the left top large plug and the smaller plug on the bottom right. Push the Male side of plug #1 that was removed from the radio into the female on the PA11-NIS, then plug the large plug of the adaptor into the radio top left slot (#1). Take the other plug that comes with the adaptor and plug it into the #3 slot - leaving the original #3 plug from the existing radio wiring unplugged.

Once it's hooked up just press the cd button to navigate between CD1(changer) and CD2(paii-niss)

OK, So what am I losing by leaving the #3 harness unplugged? I assume the in dash changer? Just to verify. Top left and lower right is while looking at the radio from the backside? Sorry but I'm just trying to make sure that I'm following you. Also I don't have a CD button but there are multiple buttons for the in dash changer. Will this still work? Thanks

I have this in my '07 with Bose system. The only thing you will lose is the ability to install a rear changer. The in dash changer works fine. Best mod I've done to the car.

I got it in there and managed to get the car back out of my shop and under it's cover about 20 minutes before the wife came in! As long as she doesn't go poking around under the seat and see the wire I'm good to go.
