Default Kenwood DNX7100

Hey guys, Need some help, just bought the Kenwood dnx7100 for my z 05.. i need to know exactly what i need in order to install it myself. do i need a frame? cables?? i currently have the bose system, will i be able to use those cables? Thanks

You will might need a mounting kit and a DIN cup to fill in the space that will be below the single-din stereo.

I'd start with getting the wiring kit for it...any electronics retailer or audio shop should carry adapters so you don't have to splice any of the factory wires. There're wiring kits where you can buy plugs that fit on the factory end, and can be connected to the new HU's end.

If you can find a writeup for installing any single din headunit on the forum, then it'll basically be the same thing.

I installed the same HU and just used a metra install kit and metra wiring harness.

I had Custom Sounds to install mine. Needed a wire harness and a dash kit. I also bought the i-pod adapter and the blue tooth. I love both of those. Crutchfield sells anything you would want.

The blue tooth was soooo much better then i thought it would be well worth it.
