Default Viper...GPS

I stumbled on to a website that showcased this new Viper GPS alarm system..trackes your car online ..you can go to a website and see your car on a map, if it is stolen. Also it said if your alarm is set and it is moved it will notify you, either by phone or computer. If you have kids or let your other half drive the car you can also see how fast there driving your car..pretty nifty. They priced the alarm system for $600 with one full year of GPS tracking free. This sounds alot better than paying for the stock GPS..seems you get alittle more options, am I wrong?

Wow, this is a late reply...I just saw this Viper GPS system on the DEI website basically with what you stated above. I believe the one full year of GPS tracking free does not include the checking of your car via phone/computer, unlocking doors etc, checking speed of your car unless you get the type II $89/year option which allows 30 uses of the above a year or like $150/year Type III option allows 150 uses...I want to know if anyone else has invested in this because if it came down to Viper GPS or LoJack, Viper seems the way to go for roughly the same price...peace all

wow this was awhile ago but yeah the viper had so much more and it was really cool lol....I directed my money into GT-7s instead but an alarm like this is a must I work in a hospital were parking is lets just say not in the best of places, and in the hospital I can have a paging system. Ya know then again that ings+ 1 kit sure does look good...

I have one... the alarm itself is real nice two way remote opens everything, etc.. but the GPS doesn't work in all that many locations.. i live right near LAX and it doesn't work at my house I have lojack so i'm not too worried but the coverage pretty much sucks if I can't get service in one of the largest cities in the country....
