Stereo Troubles
Ok I have an 03 touring edition with the bose stereo in it. The other day I went out and started it not paying any attention to the stereo. As I was going down the road I turned the radio up on a song that was on a cd. I noticed that the drivers side speakers were not playing anything at all. I checked the balance thinking maybe a friend had changed it just messing with me and it was set on 0, I adjusted it all to the left side and still could not hear anything. I turned the volume all the way up and could hear a real faint sound and really distorted. I then switched it to a radio station and it could hear the music just fine. Does anyone have any advice on things to check.. Also wondering if anyone has had this problem prior?
BOSE problem. Replace the headunit. Or maybe it was the BOSE amplifier... Someone will chime in. It's the BOSE system for sure tho... I was excited to get a car equipped with BOSE but it disappointed me so much. A month later it was replaced by a kenwood ddx6019
wait i'd like 2 know. .so you hear the speaker's fine with the radio playing. .just dont seem to hear anything with a CD? just that one song? that whole cd? or any cd?. .a friend of mine made a cd one time that was bad quality as far as the music was made mono so only one side of the speaker's kept playing the music. .drove em nuts. .
I have this same problem a few guys in my local area with the bose told me its the bose hu... its strange though mine did it for about a week then worked great and now its messing up again
