Ok, so just yesterday I started noticing on my 04.5 Bose system, I am getting almost no sound when I change the balance to the left side...whats weird is this ONLY happens in 'CD' mode. Its fine in radio mode.

Anyone have any tips? or is my HU just fubar'd?

 

CD was not recorded in stereo have you tried a different CD?

 

It's most likely the bose headunit...

This is a very common problem with the Bose system, the remedy is to replace the headunit with another Bose or go aftermarket.

I have the same problem, when i change to ''ORIGINAL CD'' its work perfectly, the prob is only when i try to put a COPIE not original CD'' try it dude ...

 

hmm...thanks, my warranty just ran out last month tho...so I guess I will have to go look for my AVIC a bit earlier than expected...

 

u need to replace the headunit...all Zs share the same problem !
