Installing a 2003 Bose stereo into a 2006 base.
I have a Bose stereo from a 2003 that I'm about to buy, but I wanted to know if the harness plug ins are the same as the 2006 Base.
Thanks for all the help!

The only way to install the Bose into a non-Bose car is to install the ENTIRE system. Headunit, amps, front speakers, rear speakers, and subwoofer. One piece will not work without the rest. So if you see an entire system for sale, it is most likely pretty expensive (for what you get) and you will be WAAAAYYYYY better off buying an aftermarket headunit.

Ok,,you will run into 2 major problems here. 1. Trying to install the bose system into your non-bose will require replacing speakers, audio wiring, installing the "blose" amp, ect. ect.,,,way too much work and time for horrible results.
2. The 03 dash/headunit shape is different than the 06,,so you would have major modifications to your dash to intergrate the two. I hope this helps
