There is an adapter from PAC audio called the USA Spec PA11-NIS. I was considering going this route, but the functionality just wasn't up to par with what I was looking for. From what I recall, you can't see the name of whats playing, only playlist number. And, you have to create special lists to play anything...
Having had the Alpine iPod Full Speed capability in my last car, I decided to upgrade the HU to get better iPod service.

Buy the USA Spec. It'll give me a hollow victory. I could've saved 50 bucks.
Rebranding stinks.

The pa-11 nis works great! The functionality to see artist and such is a deficiency of the stock HU, not the pa-11 nis. You can control the ipod from the ipod or the HU, and are NOT restricted to playlists.
If anyone is interested, I have a pa-11 nis for sale ultra-cheap. They go for $130 retail.
PM if interested

Should work. If you have the ability to hook up an external CD changer, it should work.
Quoting their info sheet, "PA11 NIS is not compatible with satellite radio, DVD, external cd changer, or Bluetooth". The reason it's not compatible with these is because it plugs into the slot reserved for these items on the back of the radio.
Quoting Discount Radio's site, "Compatible with listed 1999-06 Nissan/Infiniti factory radios with external Changer controls."

that's why I think it wouldn't work. I believe the plug it uses is taken by the dvd navgiation. I hope that's not the case though...anyone have this along with navigation?

Everything I've read verifies it works with '03-'06. I spent a bit reading through the manual for the Sat-ready '07 bose deck last night....It looks like it will probably work, but I've found nothing about an '07 owner trying yet. Anyone know if this will work for the '07s?

I'm thinking of getting this as well (USA Spec PA11-NIS) for those of you guys that have it set up. Does the little box sit out side or some where inside your dashboard? Kinda basic question i guess. thanks.
