Have you bought a Touring Since May 2003? Does the stereo work well, or not?

2004 Touring Z - replaced Bose head 2x under warranty. The problem was when it was cold the CD would skip or not play at all. It's starting to do it again since the last time it was replaced...at this point when it goes completely i'll put in a new unit.

Michael J Fox, you know before your posted, the last post is dated 2003. And yes, Bose Blows. A $50 Sony Explodes sounds tons better than the pricey Bose.

+1 To old thread

BUT... IMO you guys are way too critical of the stereo in a SPORTS CAR! I agree BOSE could have done better. But for god sake did you buy the car to drive it, or to jam out?

I think it's called customization. We change the wheels, tires, body kits, side mirrors, suspension, seats and seatbelts, exhaust system, etc because we want to fit our style. Some owners just would think that the sound would be a bit better than a civic or an econobox.

+1. That's why a cheap Sony Explode is considered an upgrade. Not sure why many want to try and save the Blose.
