My brother and I were thinking about how bulky and big the TV Tuner Antenna's are that sit on the car to get the broadcasts. We were thinking instead of a big, bulky antenna, how about 3 or 4 small one's. You would mount them on the car in a circle or square depending on 3 or 4. It would act like a big antenna and you would get the same reception, just with a much smaller idea. I was wondering if it would work, would you have to hook them up like link them to each other? It still might look a little weird but then again, so does the TV Tuner atenna that sits on the car, but it would be a lot less bulky and big.
I have the film antenna and I put mine underneath the strut bar....not visible. Double sided tape holds it underneath the strut bar.
Pretty good reception...As good as you will get for an antenna anyway.

Thanks for your input. But do you think my/our idea will work? I think it would get better reception than what you have done and suggested me to do. If it won't then i'll just do what you did, I am definately not going to have those up there for the same reception as one that is easier to hide. Thanks
Actually they sell something what you describe...it's called diversity antenna.
You have to buy a tuner that is made for the diversity antennas.
Basically, the tuner has like 4 antennas plugs...you plug them in and place them at different locations in the car (maybe one in the front back and sides). The ones I've seen have pretty big antennas. I've never tried them so I can't tell you how it works.
