Hey guys, I bought the Escort Passport 8500 x50 and was about to open it up, but I started thinking about what might cause interference with it. I have the iPhone and was wondering if anyone had experienced problems with false alarms when traveling with both the radar detector and the iPhone since the iPhone uses the GSM network, Wi-Fi, blue tooth, and from what i hear now Infrared for the touch screen.

Let me know if you all have any experiences with this.

Police radar uses radio frequencies in the microwave range. If your iPhone starts emitting microwaves, you've got waaay bigger problems that a false alarm on your radar detector.
