for anyone who has a tv tuner installed in your Z, where did you mount the antenna to get good reception? I have a Kenwood 911dvd and i tried 4-5 spots for the tv antenna but i get ok to crappy reception. Only time it was good is when i held it outside the car . Does anyone have any suggestions.

I have the diversity antenna and I mount mine on the rear window. When I had the crappy tv tuner, it was very bad reception. I just switched to Clarion TTX7601, and it was a big difference! it has better reception on all channels and I can actually watch tv without statics!

 

how hidden is your antenna, i tried to do the same thing but i had a hard time unclipping the plastic panel where the top of seat is. i also have a diversity antenna. any tips on mounting the antenna on the rear window.

 

it sticks to the rear window, if you look hard enough, you can see the 3m tape. you have to remove the plastic panel to run the cable. From there, you just run it to the top of the hatch and along the left side..
