I've never hooked up a head unit before, so i was going to try and install one today. When disconnecting the factory H/U somehow i disassembled the harness that plugs into the h/u . The harness will go back together but all the wires are out of it, if anybody has the wiring colors and the pin numbers for the factory harness to put them back in it would be greatly appreciated, i don't even want to try and finish because im afraid of frying something.

 

all you need to do is solder the wires from the back of the new hu to the ones you accidently pulled out of the harness clip. all you'd be doing is bypassing the car specific wiring kit that you prolly bought. there is a sticky in this forum with the wiring colors. good luck

 

Mmm, thanks, but the wiring colors really don't help, the colors are different, and i don't have to solder it, the wires will plug back into the harness, i just don't know where they go....still lost
