I just bought one online and was wondering if anyone has ever used this radar detector before. I hope i bought at least a decent one that actually works.

 

I just got a BEL 946 and installed it 2 days ago. My last radar detector was a Whistler (corded) vs. BEL 946 (battery). I am getting less false reads with the BEL 946. The other night when it went off, it picked up a cop car with time to spare. I am a little nervous it might not be as sensitive as my last one, but if all it is doing is filtering false warnings - GREAT!!!
