Default Xenarc 7" 700V Monitor...Anyone?

Okay, I did a search on the forum, and anyone with a Xenarc monitor seems to have the 700TS or the 700TSV (both touchscreen). My question is this: Has anyone seen or used the 700V? The specs seem the same, minus the touchscreen and the VGA. I'm not using the monitor for a Car PC, so I figure I don't need the VGA. I just want to run movies/games with a VERY crisp picture. I thought about the Lilliput, but based on the threads, I'd rather dish out the extra $$$ and NOT deal with any potential problems.

The Xenarc 700V's can be found for $250-$290 w/free S&H, about the same as the Lilliputs. Granted, the Lilliputs have touchscreen & VGA, but like I said, I'm not doing a Car PC. Anyone know if there's any major difference between the 700V & the other Xenarc's?

Thanks

I have the 700YV. I don't think you will be happy without the VGA if you are going with a In Car PC.

The 700V would be Excellent for just DVD and Video Games, it has Great resolution, it has the same screen as the higher priced VGA models like the 700TSV. The Install On the Xenarc so Much Easier and straight forward compared to the Lilliput

chazzg, thanks for the input. I'm just hoping it still looks good even though it's going through A/V cables. I'm assuming that due to the high dot resolution, it should look great.

I was just at Hot Import Nights last week, and not a single installed monitor there looked up to par with I'm looking for. I may just end up getting the 700YV, so I can have the option of throwing in a VGA box for the PS2.

chazzg, are you running ANYTHING through the A/V on your Xenarc? If so, how's the quality difference between the A/V and the VGA? I can see a big jump from A/V to S-Video, so I can only assume a massive leap from A/V to VGA, even on 7" screen.

Thanks
