behind the seat sub (several questions)
hey, i know that there is a search function, but not all of this info is easily found.
1) how does one remove a non bose cover over the drivers side enclosure? i dont want to break anything when attempting to remove it.
2) what is the best venting to allow the sound to come through the OEM cover (mesh, venting, etc.)
3) what angle should the sub be pointing(a little down/up?), if i were to make a custom box? or are there any tutorials for making a box for this spot?
sorry if this is a repost, but thanks to all who respond!

I've heard that placing an aftermarket sub in the bose area isn't recommended.
Google is your friend, I googles the most basic words and got this:

If you want to make a custom box, check out some of the enclosures on ebay, ZEnclosures. Something like that. I would thing a lot of the people here on my350z have ordered one from them.

I talked to an installer from Team Audionutz in Ocala and he said that they have installed subs in the 350Z stock locations before and they sounded terrible.
I am sure that there have been installs where the stock area has been glassed and sealed, which would make it sound better but I am also sure that would be a pain in the **** not to mention costly.
For simple and effective, I agree with vnarang, Zenclosure...
