Before you start, I ALREADY SEARCHED. I looked for about 45 minutes and found nothing. Just tried to play a CD in my stock non-Bose unit and it thought about it then displayed "CD ERR F3". Does anyone know what this is about?

I don't have a Bose headunit as indicated by my statement "stock non-Bose unit". Thanks though.

 

I Googled and found the error for the Bose was a stuck CD but for the non-Bose, the only thing mentioned was having the dealer replace the unit.

I hope you're still under basic warranty.

 

mine does it too..its when it wont take the CD it gets hung up before loading and tries to spit it back out..won't play burned CD's either..same code I think..it sounds Ghetto but if you turn the key put the CD in and before it loads turn the key off. The next time you turn the car on it should be loaded. Usually it means you need to replace the unit due to an internal fault. Hope that helps-Collin

mine did it on a 10.5 hour road trip and after 3 tries it wouldn't load or give the disc back and that was 2 hours into the trip
