Has anyone put a navigation system in their car that wasnt factory? around how much did it cost and around wut price would i be looking to pay to do this?

 

 

no. no one in the history of z's has installed an aftermarket navigation system in their car. NO ONE. be a trailblazer.. go you!

To save your troubles Dave quoted somebody that summarized it all up .

"Just to let the buyer beware, I can guarantee this is not all the wiring you will need to do the install. It is nearly impossible to install an OEM Nav into a non nav equipped Z. The entire dash of the car needs to be taken off to even get to half the wires. The car needs to be pre-wired for navigation in its electrical system, which a non nav Z is not. This is far from a plug and play install. There is a reason why Nissan will charge $5-6k to do this install."
