Default Does this even exist??

To simplify hardwiring my Val....I thought about just running the hot wire to a fuse. I tried just shoving the wire into a fuse receptacle and forcing the fuse in on top of it, but there just isn't enough room it seems.

What would be nice is a fuse with a wire attachment to it so that you could do just this but in a "better quality" manner. Anyone know if a gadget like this already exists??

I have seen them at Radio Shack I think. But there should be room enough to do what you wanted to do. That is how I did mine. You bare the wire completely (i.e. you can't have any plastic in the recepticle) and sort of wrap it around the two prongs of the fuse and then plug it back in.

Note that the green wire I used here is on the regular cord of the V-1. I cut off the plug to get to it. It isn't the one you'd normally use to hard wire.

That's correct, you can buy a piggy back (I believe that's what they are called) fuse adapter at radio shack. It's on the form to go around a fuse.

I had to grind (just a little) to match the form of the fuse from the tip that goes into the fuse box. On the other end you can slid a crimp connector. Real clean job. Good luck

these are called "Tap-a-fuse" and are very hard to find, I have looked everywhere. What I did was find an empty slot thats hot in the box and put a male terminal on the wire then plug that in the spot where the fuse goes, then put a fuse on the wire.
