Default factory bose subwoofer bracket

I am looking into getting a factory bose subwoofer bracket along with the subwoofer cover panel. It is being placed behind the driver's seat and I would like to know if anybody had placed an aftermarket onto the factory bracket. I was told it may not fit 100% onto the bracket but it is recommended to have a factory bose subwoofer along with it What do you guys think?

and just to answer your question fast it depends on trim ring on the subwoofer. Most 10" subs wont fit without making a ring out of mdf. You can also buy the enclosure that fits in that spot. I had my kicker 10" in the factory spot for awhile and it sounded great till i made a box for 2 10s. Pm me if you want pics of what im talking about

Memphis audio makes a shallow mount sub that can fit in a small box in that space perfectly. Most people say you won't like the sound if you just pop and drop an after market in the stock location. just get the cover (can get through nissan) and have a box built....oh...and search (cause someone is gonna say it eventually).
