yup, and you better get some esrious alternators if yo uodnt to kill your electrical system in a heart beat...i say dual 200amp alternators to start with, and run a good 4 setes of 0 guages back...

I think the HiFonics that 350zspl has is a better amp and I believe it's cheaper.

1st off it uses the same board as the lanzar opti drive 6000 mono

and you would be better off with the lanzar opti drive 6000

the sound stream do not make rated power

tell me what you budget is
what driver you want to push
what electrical budget you have in mind

if you wanna run 4000 watts or better you will need
multiple 1/0 awg runs
a 200 amp alt
the big 3
and at least 3-4 batteries

i can help you to great amps for spl and not spend more than is needed

give me some idea of what you are desiring

 

i have clamped both 6500 & 10k soundstreams

the 6500 does just over 4000 watts at 14 volts
the 10,000 does just under 6000 watts at 14 volts

and they are current hogs

Well, I was more curious than anything. I remember back in the day when Soundstream was the sht to have when it came to amps... I don't remember ever seeing an amp over 3000 watts back then. I was just wondering what kind of ungodly driver you could power with >3000W...

Also, would the Big 3 make a difference with 2200 watts rms, dual 4 gauge B+, and stock battery/alternator?

 

damn thats some massive power!

 

you should definetly use 12" or so of 1/0 power wire and re-ground the factory batteries negative terminal to fender use stock location just swap wire , try to neatly sand paint in that area

remove the factory negative ground frame out the area to be sanded with painters tape so as that way you are sanding neatly between the framed out area than replace ground


you can run a new 1/0 lead from alt to positive terminal on battery


it will not hurt only create less resistance

of course if you got and extra $ 250 you can drop a stinger 1000, or kinetic in the factory location

a new 200 amp alt from wrangler is what i use but it aint cheap

it makes 200 amps at 1500 rpm

i run outlaw so i can rev my motor to 1500 and yeild those 200 amps at comps

 

the volume takes a back seat to the pressure

the pressure it what is the most overwhelming
