What do i need to install it? I mean when i got it, there is a wiring harness in the box but then people say i need a nissan specific one? When i had my eclipse the wiring in that looked exactly like the one that came with the Alpine head unit, i mean do i need a nissan specific one? Also when it comes to wiring subwoofers where is the best place to put the wire through the firewall? Also were would you guys suggest i put the ipod cord through for the headunit?

 

Take it to a shop before you mess stuff up

 

i installed the alpine headunit on my eclipse by myself and i dont want to spend around 300 dollars to have it installed by someone, while i can do it by myself with a little basic help.

 

also guys i just went to look at my car (07 Enthusiast Automatic Trans) and when im installing my subwoofers is it possible to bring the power wire all the way back to the strut bar while keeping it hidden?

 

well i have installed a few decks in my cars over the years and i know there is two seperate harnesses (sp) used. there is a nissan harness and then there is an alpine harness and those to connect to each other. should be plug and play
