Default Change the startup image on DNX7120

This may work for the DNX7100 as well.

Here are the instructions for changing the startup image on your headunit.

· First connect the USB Thumbdrive containing image file.
· To enter setup Mode, press SRC+EJECT, then RESET.
· Press and hold FNC & EJECT keys, then press RESET Key.
· Release reset key, and hold FNC & EJECT Key until illumination activates.
· If you want to change the opening image to your own image (i.e., company logo), Press OEM Image.
· If you want to put original KENWOOD opening back, press KENWOOD image.
· Select the image you want to use.
· When the image is loaded, select Enter

Your new opening will remain for few
seconds and then switch to the Source
Select menu.

was going to give this a try on the 7100, but it does not have a SRC button. i'm guessing we should use the v-sel button (which selects video source).
have a question about this step: To enter setup Mode, press SRC+EJECT, then RESET. do you press SRC and EJECT and then RESET all at once? could you please clarify?

thanks.

I have the 7100, and what your photo shows as SRC is actually NAV.

FWIW...

Perhaps newer/older models?

I'll have to take a look at mine. I think that button is NAV for my 7120 as well.
