My skips randomly. I have no idea why... At first I thought it was my cds, But I tried a Brand new CD right out the package.. and still nothing. Anyone else have this problem?
Like everyone has said, it happens especially when it's cold... Which happens quite a bit where I'm from.
It's an inherent defect/flaw in the BOSE unit, which I'm assuming you have.

My stock HU randomly decided to jam/stop feeding cds one day. Replaced it with another OEM HU from an 04, shortly afterwards it had the skipping problem.
Replaced it with an aftermarket.

thanks guys!
Replace the Bose if you can. The 03-04 AudioPilot feature drove me crazy to the point were I wanted to rip everything out.
Silverstone-Z's
It's a normal problem, and it's just a normal quirk of the BOSE system.
