Chip for the stock Navigation

Anyone know if there really is a chip that you can solder in the stock Navigation player so it can play DVD movies?

There is NO chip or conversion that can be done to the factory DVD-ROM reader for the navigation system.

You will need a dedicated DVD player and special conversion hardware to play DVD video on the factory navigation screen. Figure on spending $800-$1000 for this setup.
