Default Has anyone installed a powered center speaker

Has anyone installed a powered center speaker to achieve true 5.1 dolby surround sound with a dvd system? Where did you put it? I am going to leave the Bose in for looks and run a dvd/cd /mp3 player head unit in glove box with digital sound processor and throw a Farenheit screen in stock nav spot. Would like true surround but not sure what to do with a center speaker.

When I had the AVH-P7490DVD pioneer unit, it came with the center speaker. I originally had no clue where to put it, but the only place I could think of was INSIDE the stock nav location (the pioneer unit was a flip-out unit). You could always put the speaker on the side of the center panel and adjust the sound balance. There really isn't any place you could mount the center speaker without it being in a real odd location.

Yes I saw that but I want to leave Bose head unit in for looks and put new head unit in glove box so that 1/2 din speaker won't work for that. I really don't want to change the look from stock.
